DebbieI am a primary school teacher who has always taught in the Chesterfield area. I got actively involved in the union through the local Association meetings. In 2003 I was elected as Treasurer for the Chesterfield Association and then became a Union Learning Representative. Juggling teaching with an increasing commitment to the union has not always been easy but I have had great support from other DAT officers and from my school. I am very proud to have been elected County Secretary and, like my predecessor, am committed to developing our union and supporting you, our members.
